Introduction
Fallout 4 Load Order Framework - A Vault Dweller's Load Order Survival Guide
Designed to help Fallout 4 players survive Load Order Disorder by emphasizing planning, placement, and maintenance of game modifications.
It is designed to be a comprehensive guide to playing with Fallout 4 mods, contains a list of categories, links to a template to use to sort your mods, and useful information for console players regarding several hundred mods.
The document began as a master list of categories in February of 2017 with a set of mods taken from various working and stable load orders and has since expanded. While it is geared toward console players, it is the intention of the document to be as comprehensive as possible, and the information contained within can be used by all platforms.
Framework Mod Categories
Do you just need the Framework categories list to sort your load order?
The guide contains the sorting order categories and their definitions. You can also download the spreadsheet that already has the categories listed for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions about Load Orders
Load Order FAQFrequently asked questions about the Survival Guide
How do I plan my load order?
Why don't you support pre-made load orders, collections, or mod packs?
Because it is your game. Not ours. It is no one's place to tell you how to play the game. You are responsible for your own game.
I have a question about the Survival Guide or mod placement that isn't covered in the guide, where do I go for answers?
Prior to the Bethesda.net forums closing, you could post your load order and ask questions on the Parent Thread. We have a full FAQ on this website and also mod information posted to the Parent Discord Server.
You can join the Parent Discord Server and ask questions there. We're proudly part of the Armored Reptile Modding Discord. If you'd like us to help you troubleshoot mod conflicts, have a question about the contents of the Survival Guide, or just want us to review your load order, you can post your load order on the Parent Server.
If you don't want to chat in real time, you can contact me here or on Twitter. I also hang out on the Bethesda Discord servers and several other modding and mods Discord servers. I am happy to answer any questions.
That Guide has too much information. Is there an easy way to do this?
No. Sorry. Mods aren't plug n play and everyone has their own way of modding the game. Console players do not have tools like xEdit to make patches for their game so conflicts happen.
I still use the TinyURL link. Will it continue to work?
Yes.

will continue work until TinyURL stops providing it. We however will not be supporting the link. When linking the document, please use the oddsmods.xyz domain name since we pay for the third-party service.

Receiving Load Order Assistance
Do you have questions about mods not in the guide and how they interact with each other?
Feel free to ask your questions on our Parent Discord Server. Keep in mind that the answers may depend on what other mods you're using so have your mod list written down. We have a blank template with the categories already listed for you for your convenience.
