Overview

Vendor rugs. Nothing fancy. Animations differ per level type but otherwise function exactly as base game vendors, including caps and local leader perk requirements.

  1. Plop one down
  2. Assign a settler to it.
  3. ???
  4. Profit!!

Are you having trouble finding my mods on the Bethesda website or in-game? You can look up all my mods by my user name oddlittleturtle or special-spork ugh. The search is literal, uses punctuation, and is boolean for any word in the description, the history, and the title.

Important Information

The testing was done on a very buggy, over-built character without UFO4P installed to fix any settler derps.

Xbox

I had too many vendor things in the vendor list, so it has its own menu after Creation Club. Benefits you as well. If Xbox accidentally deletes something, your workshop menu is safe from being destroyed by the missing script error.

PlayStation

Your version is set up differently under the hood than the Xbox version.

PS4 rugs are located in your 'Stores' menu.

My mod is not necessary if you choose to use Seraph's Shop Rugs or Shop Rug 2.0 or Unlocked Settlement Objects. This mod is for users who only want simple rugs with no bells or whistles and was ported by request from the Xbox version.

Requirements

Xbox

Settlement Menu Manager (SMM)

Technical Details

To help you differ between each shop level, the animations are visually different.

  • Tier 1: 'guarding' animation
  • Tier 2: 'clipboard' animation
  • Tier 3: 'barkeep' animation (exception: Clinic - clipboard animation is the Vault-tec clipboard)

Each rug is set to random animation, so if you have two side-by-side, they should not have the same movement at the same time.

The textures on welcome mats are not set up to receive material swaps so they are visible for the moment. The curve piece on the welcome mat is the direction the vendor will stand.

Place with your workshop mods below Settlement Menu Manager.

PlayStation

Place with your workshop mods. Load order does not otherwise matter.

Compatibility

Should not conflict with anything. All new stuff re-using old stuff.

Support

Active development of these mods has ended and with it technical support. Depending on my playthrough, I still use them on my Xbox without issue. No one reported any issues while mods were actively supported on the Bethesda.net forums.

Mod is complete and offered as is, where is.
